As He Hands Out Water Bottles After Hurricane, Trump Stunned To See Who’s In Crowd

On Monday, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump traveled to Florida, where they toured the wreckage and aftermath of Hurricane Michael. “To see this personally is very tough. It’s very, very tough. Total devastation,” Trump said after surveying the damage.

On Monday, both President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania traveled to Florida, where they toured the wreckage and aftermath of Hurricane Michael. Of course, their trip was widely ignored by the mainstream media, which was busy reporting that Sen. Elizabeth Warren had produced a DNA test which supposedly corroborated her decades-long claims to be Native American.

In reality, Warren could be anywhere from 1/64 to 1/1024 Native American; all the DNA test proved is that she has no more claim to Indian heritage than the average white American:

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is touting a DNA test that shows she has, at most, 1/64 Native American ancestry, and possibly as little as 1/1024 — which means she may have no more Native American DNA than the average white American, and less than many other Americans.

Even 1/64 — corresponding to one great-great-great-great grand parent — would not qualify Warren for membership in any Native American tribe, nor justify her claims to Native American identity. [Source: Breitbart]

Furthermore, Native American DNA wasn’t even used in the analysis to compare to Warren’s sample:

The analysis of Warren’s DNA was done by Carlos D. Bustamante, a Stanford University professor and expert in the field who won a 2010 MacArthur fellowship, also known as a genius grant, for his work on tracking population migration via DNA analysis.

Warren provided a sample of her DNA to a private lab in Georgia in August, according to one of the senator’s aides. The data from that test was sent to Bustamante and his team for analysis. Warren received the report last week.

Even though the results of Warren’s DNA test were denounced by everyone from President Trump to the Cherokee Nation, the mainstream media fawned over them as if they were solid proof that the top Democrat has Native American lineage, ignoring the good work Trump was doing in Florida on Monday.

Upon arrival to the hurricane-ravaged area, the president and first lady took an aerial tour of the scene in Marine One in order to better survey the damage that had been done. “To see this personally is very tough. It’s very, very tough. Total devastation,” said Trump. “The job they’ve done in Florida has been incredible and likewise I’m hearing in Georgia.”

The president then told his security detail that he wanted to assist the FEMA crew on site by handing out water bottles to the citizens directly affected by this vicious storm. Once again proving that he is a man of the people, Trump and his wife Melania spent at least a half hour handing water bottles out to many hundreds of people who waited in line for a chance to get some clean water and a handshake from their hero.

Several people asked Trump to take a picture with them, and he happily obliged. Then, a teary-eyed grandmother approached the president directly and leaned in to thank him for being there and for committing to help the people affected by this disaster. Trump put a reassuring hand on her shoulder and promised that he will not rest until Congress designates funds to help all of the people suffering in Florida.

Interesting, isn’t it, that we have heard so little about President Trump’s response in the wake of Hurricane Michael? Typically, the media would be all over him, criticizing the way he handled the situation. However, there is simply nothing bad to say about the way Trump has responded.

Thanks to the president’s leadership, we were as prepared as we possibly could have been before hurricane season struck. A certain amount of destruction was inevitable, but everything was in place so the first responders could react immediately, restoring power to hundreds of thousands of people in short order and distributing necessary supplies.

Indeed, the response to Hurricane Michael is certainly among the best we have ever seen. Don’t hold your breath waiting for the liberal media to give Trump any credit for that, though.
