In light of the massive migrant caravan moving toward the United States, President Donald Trump unearthed a damning video of Barack Obama. It exposes liberals for what they really are.
Americans watch as over 10,000 migrants march toward our border. Thousands of migrants from South American countries intend to simply enter our country, without following a single immigration law. Among the so-called innocent victims are drug cartel members, criminals, and even some citizens of Middle Eastern countries.
This shockingly brazen display of entitlement is only possible because of the terrible policies enacted by former President Obama. Democrats have been exploiting illegal immigration for years. They refuse to work with President Trump to enforce our immigration laws. In many liberal-run cities and states, our government protects criminal aliens, putting them ahead of Americans.
And of course, Congress has refused to follow Trump’s order to build the border wall, the single most effective means at preventing illegal immigration.
Many Americans might be surprised to think that a major political party would so openly embrace illegal immigration. We all know the damage this crisis causes to our country, both in national security and our economy. Yet Democrats continue to support broken policies that give aliens special privilege, insulting American citizens and legal immigrants.
But it wasn’t always that way. Once upon a time, Democrats were strong supporters of defending our borders. In fact, they decried illegal immigration, calling it a major threat to our country.
Even Barack Obama had strong words for anyone that would protect and endorse illegal aliens. President Trump reminded the world of his statements, in a recent tweet. He even posted the speech.
According to The Daily Wire, “On Tuesday, President Trump expertly trolled former President Obama on the subject of illegal immigration with this tweet, referencing a speech then-Senator Obama gave in 2005:”

Obama literally said, “We all agree on the need to better secure the border, and to punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants. We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States, but those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those following the law.”
Today, Democrats look the other way when illegal immigrants enter our country. They even refuse to use the word “illegal,” calling it discriminatory. What changed?
When George Bush was president in 2005, it was politically advantageous for Democrats to oppose illegal immigration. They viewed Republicans as the ones encouraging it, as businesses benefited from illegal labor. The working unions that Democrats supported were getting hurt by the influx of illegal immigrants.
Now, Democrats have an entirely new strategy. They stopped caring about American workers, unionized or otherwise. They’d rather have hordes of outsiders rush our borders. These illegal immigrants can be easier exploited for cheap labor while voting for Democrats in elections. It’s a sick and evil strategy, one that Democrats jumped onto almost instantly.
President Trump refuses to let the left slink away from the reality that they’ve flipped on this issue. Once upon a time, Democrats joined with most Americans in opposing illegal immigration. It was a major policy for Bill Clinton and Democrats in the 2000’s. Today, they all but roll out the red carpet for illegals.
Americans noticed. We see an entire party betraying the country, just to get more votes. As this caravan pushes closer to our country, remember the party who made it happen.
