Whoopi Says Trump Doesn’t Give A Damn About People In CA

Whoopi Goldberg was extremely upset about the California wildfires which she claims is due to global warming. On The View, Goldberg told President Donald Trump: “What I need him to do is shut up!” Then, she screamed that Trump doesn’t “give a damn about the people in California!” Well, poor Whoppi was made to really regret it.

Everyone who has seen the devastation of the California wildfires has been shocked at the enormity of the disaster. No one takes this disaster lightly, but there is definitely a disconnect by leftists about how these wildfires came about. For Democrats, the wildfires are a result of one thing only: global warming.

Yet, California is a Democratic stronghold. If anything, California is an example of the Democratic agenda in action. So when Whoopi Goldberg starts railing against President Trump and claiming the wildfires are due to global warming and he doesn’t care about California, she is in denial. She can’t handle the truth.

Breitbart reports, “Monday on ABC’s The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg criticized President Donald Trump for his comments about the California wildfires.”

In a video clip from his California weekend visit, Trump said, “I was with the president of Finland and he said we’re a forest nation. He called it a forest nation. And they spend a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things and they don’t have any problem and when it is, it’s a very small problem.”

Well, Goldberg went nuts over this notion that California could have done something to avoid this disaster. She said, “Actually, as you probably know, Finland has a very different atmosphere. They get rain periodically. California, it doesn’t rain much so raking really isn’t going to help. You know, just being realistic.”

California’s climate hasn’t changed. There are years of huge amounts of rain called the “El Nino” effect. Then, there are years where it only rains sporadically. Trump was pointing out that Finland addressed its fire hazards, unlike California. The president was pointing the finger at Governor Jerry Brown, a global warming leftist, and his blatant disregard of the wildfire potential in California.

Of course, Trump-hater Joy Behar had to chime in, saying, “When did [Trump] become an expert on forest fires? Who is he, Smokey the Bear all of a sudden?” Then, the so-called attorney, Sunny Hostin, piped in and claimed that she had friends in Finland. “[T]he Fins are having such a ball with this. There are memes online with them vacuuming the forest,” laughed Hostin.

That caused Goldberg to take it up a notch in her attack on the president, saying, “What I need him to do is shut up! And I try not to be, you know, I try not to be too rude, but you know what, people lost their lives. Families lost their homes. This is not a joke. Raking? I’m sorry. Raking is not funny to people in California.”

No one said this was a funny situation, especially President Trump. It was Sunny Hostin who claimed she had friends in Finland who are laughing.

Whoopi, directing her anger about people laughing at Trump, said, “This is not cute, you know, this idea. And if you don’t know this, if you really don’t know this, man, everybody needs to start rethinking what you’re saying and how you’re saying it because you [Trump] don’t give a damn about the people in California.”

Well, the very real fact is if Whoopi Goldberg cared about California at all, she would have asked herself a long time ago why the Golden State is a total nightmare and already is a constant disaster for so many, thanks to the Democrats.

There are 554,000 homeless people in California, which makes up one-quarter of the total homeless in the entire nation. This is a direct result of Democratic policies. High taxes lead to the high cost of living. While California’s 39.5 million population is 39.6% larger than Texas’ 28.3 million, its homeless population is 512% larger.

And maybe Whoopi and her cohorts on The View should do a little research before they start spewing nonsense about Trump’s comments on the wildfires. About one-third of California is covered by forests, most of it owned by the U.S. government, reported CNS News.

When the president spoke about Finland, he was pointing out the big problem: California’s timber laws are considered the most stringent in the nation. Which means loggers and the timber industry aren’t clearing areas due to the environmental fanatics. The U.S. Forest Service estimates that California has 129 million dead trees, most in the central and southern Sierras. But they are still standing. Insects and drought are to blame for the high numbers, reported NBC News.

Or what about Gov. Brown vetoing a wildfire-related bill in 2016? These wildfires were reportedly started by down power line, and the bill Gov. Brown vetoed would have required the state government’s public utility commission and the energy companies do all they can to prevent fires in high-risk areas, reported the Free Beacon.

Whoopi Goldberg really has no idea about the reality facing the majority of California residents. These wildfires are just another symptom of the mismanaged state of California which has been governed by the Democrats for decades.

Maybe instead of welcoming with open arms the migrants who are now on the San Diego border, Whoopi and her crew might want to re-think their stance on open border policies. California already has its plate full taking care of its residents who lost everything in the wildfires. It’s time the Hollywood crowd start owning their support of Democrats who have almost entirely destroyed the state of California.
