Michelle Obama is promoting her new book, but in the bulk of her interviews, she has been trashing President Donald Trump and his supporters. The former first lady said she is baffled why so many women would vote for a misogynist like Trump. Then, she referred to Americans who support the president as “kooks and wingnuts.” Well, the first lady just fired back at Michelle, making her look like a fool. You’ll love this.
Michelle Obama is proving she needs to trash President Trump and his supporters to sell books. In fact, Fox News host Laura Ingraham is calling the former first lady out for “cashing in” on her hatred of all things Trump.
“This Michelle Obama book launch, when you really think about it, is just one more example of someone cashing in for trashing Donald Trump. And also, of course, it helps set the table for 2020,” wrote Ingraham. “Now, remember, she wasn’t paid that huge advance that she got for her book to share fashion tips or pumpkin pie recipes, but to deliver body blows to Trump with a velvet glove.”
Exactly. Michelle Obama’s memoir was never going to be about Michelle Obama. It’s a weapon against Trump, ahead of the 2020 presidential election. When you really think about it, Michelle is on an anti-Trump book tour, plain and simple.
And even Oprah is getting in on the action and making sure her fans also get a dose of the Trump-hating memoir. Oprah just named Becoming one of her book club picks.
Laura Ingraham blasted the former first lady, saying, “But if Michelle Obama continues the divisive and racially obsessed politics she’s been peddling in advance of this book release, readers may consider it one of their least favorite things. And they may even find some of her political commentary unbecoming.”
I know the 63 million Americans who voted for Trump find it unbecoming. The former first lady was so desperate to paint the president and his supporters as a “deplorable.” She went back to ancient history when Trump had spoken about the Obama birther controversy, painting it as thinly-veiled racism.
Michelle writes, “The whole thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks.”
Then, Michelle takes it up a notch accusing Trump of stirring up his supporters and endangering her family. “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him,” said Obama.
You get the picture. Michelle Obama is promoting this sick narrative that Trump supporters are uneducated rednecks who are card-carrying members of the Ku Klux Klan and are plotting a race war. It’s disgusting. This brings us to Melania Trump, who was certainly aware of the former first lady’s nasty comments.
During an ABC News interview, Robin Roberts asked if the current first lady had ever reached out to her, Obama said, “No, no she hasn’t,” and raised her eyebrows in a mocking way suggesting Michelle doesn’t want anything to do with Melania.

And that’s fine. Melania doesn’t want anything to do with the race-baiting Obama. On Tuesday, Trump’s spokeswoman released a statement that said, in short, Melania’s doing just fine without Michelle’s help.
“Mrs. Trump is a strong and independent woman who has been navigating her role as First Lady in her own way,” spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said. “When she needs advice on any issue, she seeks it from her professional team within the White House.”
Melania is firing back at Michelle in a smart and classy way. There is no way the mainstream media can spin this statement as trashing Michelle, but the underlying message is clear: the Trumps don’t want anything to do with the Obamas.
Melania has endured the slings and arrows from the leftist media who refuse to treat her with the respect she deserves. “Michelle Obama collected more magazine covers than vegetables from that White House garden. While a real cover girl, First Lady Melania Trump, of course, an actual supermodel, is lucky if she gets her picture in the “Parade” magazine insert,” wrote Laura Ingraham.

Melania Trump won’t lower herself to trash Obama supporters. When Michelle goes low, Melania goes high, and there is no doubt our FLOTUS will go down in history as one of the most gracious and classy first ladies since Jackie Kennedy, while Michelle and the Obama presidency will be a bad memory most Americans will want to forget.
